Starting his career designing business analysis models for IBM, he earned an MBA in International Finance from The Wharton School, after which he joined the Acquisition Group of Booz, Allen & Hamilton, where he developed the firm’s "Going Concern" valuation methodology. George then held senior M&A positions with Northwest Industries and Duff and Phelps before being recruited by Arthur Young to work on developing its North American Strategic Planning and Corporate Development practices. Desiring to share the sophisticated techniques used by Fortune 500 companies with all organizations, George started his own firm. Today, after consulting on over 50 successful transactions worth over one billion dollars and publishing his approach with John Wiley and Sons, Inc. – Valuation: Maximizing Corporate Value – he focuses his efforts on assisting smaller financial firms clarify their vision, accelerate their growth and efficiently and profitably transfer ownership.
